This music is GREAT! I discovered PorcupineTree 6 years ago and I am always looking for groups that have the similar feel. I have found another. Not too metal not too much new age. Excellant Progressive Rock. I love this with headphones and a pitch black room. Abigails's Ghost take me away.
Damn good!
This is a fantastic album, and nearly every track gets high marks from me. They a dreamy kind of sound, with sweeping guitar solos and lush atmospheric sound effects. Reminiscent of Porcupine Tree, especially the singer. But I wouldn't say these guys are copycats, they're making some original stuff here that is high quality prog rock that should satisfy any fan of this genre. Highly recommended.
Art Rock or Progrock? The best of Both!
Well heard about AG on a webgroup because they sound like Porcupine Tree. Well the singer sounds a little like Steven Wilson. But they progress beyond PT, moving towards the heavier sound of Deadwing/ FOABP and then mixing up with more melody, soundclips, inventive keyboards, and crunchy guitar goodness. More harmony in the singing too and a little overall haunting sound. That must be the ghost in there....
