This album is just stellar. the whispered female vocals that open Chernozem and recur on Memory Shell, then close out the album are your guide on this inner voyage.

The best of this band

I have downloaded "Aftermath" and some tracks from "Season 5," both by this band, but "Memory Shell" is by far a superior effort. It is haunting and beautiful and relaxing, all at once, the way really great downtempo should be. Definitely worth the download!

Brilliant electronic piece of art

I have discovered many outstanding works from the Ultimae Records / INgrooves label using the emusic service. Aes Dana and its Memory Shell is one of them. Wise enough to mix soft ambient with trance groove and getting a powerfull dose. A great example of this is the track "Opalin". Try it, and judge yourself.
