Majestic and brilliant

Swoppy

Don't be fooled by the titles or graphics - there's nothing specifically "programmatic" relating to sea imagery on this, and yet the feeling of the sea - expansive, majestic, rolling - is definitely conveyed by the music. The best way I could describe this is fusion-era Miles Davis (Bitches Brew to Pangea) meets Lawrence English by way of Stephan Mathieu. Kind of a jazz-rock feeling that's dense and layered but at the same time subtle and oh so soothing. Not that the sound is the same, but if you liked Tim Hecker's "Radio Amor" you'll love this too.
