superb piano playing
Best known as a sideman with Charlie Parker and Stan Getz. Haig made very few recordings under his own name which is a great pity. On this record Haig is backed by Haig Gilbert Rovere on Bass and Kenny Clarke on drums. However they stay well into the background. This allows Haig to demonstrate what a wonderful cool sylist he was a lovely record.
