Don't buy this

Get "Nothing Safe" which has more songs for the same number of credits. But don't forget to come back for "Heaven Beside You". Good amount for casual fans.

Why 12 credits for 10 Songs?

EMUSIC-008022D0

Why is eMusic charging more than 1-for-1 on the songs. If they keep this up, I will have to cancel my subscription before it switches over.

For the same price, you can download Nothing Safe, which has all these songs except Heaven Beside You. Or, if you have the credits to spare, get The Essential Alice in Chains instead.

Everything you want

ekandl

This is the classic example of "everything you want and nothing you don't." I like AiC very much but am not a rabid fan. This collection features every song that I would like to have in my library (with the exception of "Down in a Hole") and contains nothing that I wouldn't want. It's well worth the 12 credits to own the classic hits from this group!

These are songs that almost everyone who has listend to Alice & Chains has listened to at some point. Strongly recomended!

Greatest Hits is not, alas, the antidote to the botched Nothing Safe: Best of the Box compilation, but rather a lower-priced, ten-track sampler of Alice in Chains’ career. The songs are mostly excellent and well-chosen, but unfortunately, there are simply too few of them. Greatest Hits will serve the needs of casual fans who just want ten of Alice in Chains’ best songs on one disc without shelling out too much money, but there are too many other good moments in the group’s back catalog to make this a good buy for anyone else. – Steve Huey
