Alva Noto Breaks Beats
Alva Noto's team up with Ryuichi Sakamoto was the album that brought me to emusic and I've held an affection for the artist ever since. On Unitxt, we find the master of micro loops laying down some rather hard beats that are a blast to remix and blend with just about anything. The tracks also stand strong on their own and push his meditative style into a new, perhaps somewhat more accessible, arena.
