Uplifting and Down-to-Earth
Amy Douglas has hints of Susan Ashton in her voice at times but she still manages to have her own sound. The song selection is solid and has a nice mix of praise and worship and songs that speak to everyday situations. I love the minor tones in some of the songs like on two of my favorites, "Let Go" and "That Was Then." The title track is lyrically impressive and "Keep On Walkin'" has a tune that will stay in your head and is reminiscent of Susan Ashton (whom I love). "Hero At Home" is a wonderful ballad dedicated to all those moms who work so hard making a home for their families. A very inspiring album.
