Get "Could We Start Again"

I think the film version is far, far inferior to the Broadway version. In particular, Ted Neely has a weak and wimpy voice compared to Ian Gillan. They Say All Music Guide

Originally conceived as a double-album project by composer Andrew Lloyd Webber back in the days of vinyl albums, the original version was a huge success, leading to stage shows and eventually this, the original motion picture soundtrack version of Webber’s original score. The score is conducted here by AndrĂ© Previn with cast vocal support by Ted Neeley, Yvonne Elliman, and Carl Anderson. Fans of Webber’s over-the-top glitz will not be disappointed in this version, as the soundtrack was the perfect opportunity to milk the score for all it was visually and musically worth. – Cub Koda
