Sensitive playing; beautiful sound.
This is Schubert playing of a very high order, imaginative and sensitive. The fortepiano sound is probably the most beautiful I have heard. If you think you don't like the fortepiano, give this one a try.

This is really very special
I've been listening to Staier's fortepiano Schubert since his first issue. The instrument opens up the familiar sonatas in a truly revelatory way. Outstanding
Historically interesting, but...
Wonderful music, good musician, awful instrument. I feel I have wasted 8 downloads on this. The music is good but it sounds really uncharming.
