Heavy and Mellotrons
Saw these guys at Progfest in '94. Liked them then, and they are still putting out good stuff. This CD is no exception. Moody, tasty riffs, and some good 'tron.

I can't remember how I stumbled upon this album, possibly there was a free track at the time, but it's certainly one of my best finds on eMusic. Melodic prog rock, well structured songs, nice variation between tracks. Reminds me of Porcupine Tree in places. Basically a very enjoyable listen.
While not really reminiscent of red-era Crimson as the main review leads us to believe, this in nonetheless an excellent find that deserves to be heard. There is something of a Canterbury feel here (softs, caravan, even Barret era floyd in places) and once you get over the second track sounding a bit too much like the first, you'll be in for a pleasant selection of quite different and enjoyable songs. When the album ends I'm left wanting more - always the sign of a good album.
