disappointing! Vocals are too melodic (operatic).,I need more thrash. Where are the undeniably cool and kickass guitar parts. Antrax should stop looking for the vocalist they've never found and instead rely on the guitar parts that made them a legend in the first place.
If you're a guitar playe lookin' for a fast ride ,this one is for you. Powerful licks and soulfull melodiesdance all thru this album. Anhrax still in the top FIVE.
Sweet Riffs. Nice One, Anthrax. I like Joey's voice this time around. If Scott Ian did more lead vocals maybe it'd be too much NYHC. Guess sales might drop. Anyway, a solid 4/5 for me. ;)
Anthrax has been putting out good albums with John Bush for years and over that time Anthrax has matured to a new level and refused to sound dated like some of their contemporaries. However, with the addition of Joey back, whom has has reinvented himself as a metal singer, the band has focused on creating a full album of soon to be classic heavy metal songs. Worship Music is by far the best Anthrax album.
I was a big fan of these guys back in the day....but their music hasn't 'aged' for me as well as other bands that came up with them (Slayer, Metallica, etc...) I haven't been interested in hearing anything from these guys for quite some time, and when I did, it was pretty lame... This album changes everything though!! Simply said, it's an EXCELLENT metal record from start to finish....well done boyz!
Not a bad song on the disc. Old fan? New fan? It won't matter! You will love every moment! Rock on! All worship Anthrax!!!
It is so good to have some new Anthrax with Joey on the mic! Worship Music takes me back to the Anthrax I fell in love with back in the day! GREAT production and AWESOME tones! This CD just stomps from start to finish! If you are a fan of Anthrax...you will NOT be disappointed! By the way, the release date here is wrong...it was September 13th, 2011.
