almost as good as Fournier

beril

It was many years ago that I first heard these pieces from a Fournier recrding- and I may even be doing an injustice to Meneses, on account of the usual idealizing tendencies of memory

You won't regret buying this

MAO

I certainly didn't regret buying it ... twice. So impressed was I after downloading this album from eMusic that I rushed out and bought the original CD. Yes - it really IS that good. The recorded sound has warmth and space, the playing is a demonstration of true musical partnership, and the interpretations are among the best I've heard. Highly recommended.

Hightly praised.

LobsterClassics

See Gramaphone magazine March 2007 - this album praised for characterful interpretation.
