The title of the album comes from the fact that, while working on a previous album (the title of which I have forgotten) Claude S's computer (he is the lead singer of ABox) crashed and these are the songs that were eventually recovered. The album that was eventually created is one if their best but what was recovered, had U2 put this out, would have been considered a hungry grab for money from their fans. The "recovered" stuff is useful only as an alternate soundtrack for the movie 2001. It is largely unsculptured and unfinished or could be claimed to be stuff that was cut rather than lost.
