These guys had a fantastic debut and peaked, for my taste, with their sophomore album "My Favorite Worst Nightmare." They tried some different production on Crying Lighting. Then they produced this turd. Suck It and See lacks the fun, wit, and energy that made the Monkeys' earlier releases so appealing, and instead has a pomposity and snarl that isn't enjoyable to listen to or all that original.
Their best album to date,a batch terrific songs, with some of the hyperactivity of their earlier albums tempered a bit. Fans of middle period Bunnymen will like this a lot. Alex Turner may be the most idiosyncratically genius front man since Morrissey. Highly recommended.
