Evocative.
Ptahil is a nice piece of so-called dark- ambient. Not in the same class as Kerovnian (i.e. not 'scary') it definitely evokes a calm atmosphere that has slightly dark edges. The album is named after one of the Gnostic Trinity and Ptahil is credited with creating the earth from primal gloop. The music is best appreciated through headphones.
