Matthew Dear's darker side "shines" on this album. Equal parts scary and sexy, this unique, gooey, dizzying techno can start a dance party or something a little more...crazy, and that seems to be what Dear was thinking when he made the tracks, judging by some of the song titles. The music definitely bears some similarities to the album art - but probably not as flashy, and certainly more subtle and interesting. Dear isn't afraid to stretch things out, punch you in the eardrum, or scare the sh*t out of you like Kraftwerk did on Radio Activity. Crank up the bass and get ready to be launched into a dark dream world. Definitely recommended for anyone interested in seeing where a rising international star is taking techno. Bears a small similarity to Dear's "Leave Luck To Heaven", but almost nothing like Asa Breed.
