Great tunes

I love listening to this while at the beach relaxing, I just get lost and don't worry about anything.

have the original of this on vinyl. played it so many times you can read a book through it. some of the best instrumental, non-dub you'll ever hear.

a true, fine original

Pablo plays the melodica, not a common instrument, and he plays it like no one before or since. You can hear a little Ennio Morricone spaghetti western, a little Rastafarian vibe, but mainly, you hear some amazingly tranquil, spiritual music. A must-have!

They Say All Music Guide

The best of the pure instrumental albums in Pablo’s catalog, East of the River Nile finds the melodica master stretching out on various keyboards and strings as well on earthy, meditative tracks like “Chant to King Selassie I,” “Jah Light,” and “Natural Way.” Though this is explicitly a non-dub occasion, “Natural Way” does get its own version with “Nature Dub.” [Also available in a remastered edition featuring six bonus tracks.] – John Bush
