Another Score for Toronto!
4:15 has some of the hottest instrumentation that I've heard on a radio friendly R&B release in a while. Tracks like Slow It Down and Might Not Be are infectious but sound so fresh and original at the same time. As for the lovely Ayah herself, she has definite pipes and in my opinion, often sounds a bit like Nina Sky's more vocally gifted older sister (by the way, Nina Sky is a very underrated group but I digress). I am thoroughly looking forward to more releases by this exciting up and coming artist. Hopefully radio will eventually get past the wave of The Dream and Ne-Yo-like production and start playing stuff like 4:15. I can dream, can't I?
