Otherwise great music marred by lousy vocals

Nerodoz2

Someone close to this artist needs to be honest, get real, and tell him that his ability to make music far exceeds his vocal style and ability. When all instrumental versions of these tracks are available, I want to own them all, but not until then. In the meantime, his voice makes this grade B and C music. Many other artists can actually pull off what this guy is trying to do vocally and it makes it seem like he is working too hard. Have no doubts, this is GREAT music, lousy vocals, and the result is tragedy. Listen to full tracks on Youtube and decide for yourself.

Terrible Vocals

BrentMurrell

I deleted the two songs where he sings because I never want to hear them again. Other than that, great album.

Beautiful

Lucibel

This electronic album is amazing. Phones And Machines is my favourite track but all of them are beautiful, rhythmic, layered and intricate pieces, and all rather moving. His vocals are decent, reminded me of a toned down Moby.

B. cause

Joey Jo Jo

I think his voice adds to the sadness of those 2 songs, and I mean that in a good way. :) No he's not a great singer and he should do so sparingly, but I think his singing on those songs improves the somberness.

Why B.? Why?

Sumset

If you're not familiar with B.F.'s talent please help yourself to the single track from disc two on his Welcome Tourist release. Amazing and 45 minutes long! Unfortunately, occasionally, Mr. Fleischmann feels the uncontrolable need to "sing" on some of these songs. He really is a great programmer, I can't understand why anyone would want to spoil such good music. For much improved non-vocal versions of "gain" and "from to" download those tracks from his "Frisky He Said" E.P.
