When will emusic inform us up front that these are not the original recordings that we know and love? This is why I treasure Rhino. I have only sampled these tracks and I can immediately tell that they, or at least the ones I am familiar with, are not the original recordings. In many cases when artists change labels, the personnel at the record companies encourage them to make recordings of the original hits. The result is usually this type of effort.
