As a 15-year old I hitchhiked and took two busses to the record store to buy this album. BT Express had a cool soul/funk mix that screamed party and crossed over from the R&B charts to the Pop charts. I played this album over and over again until I wore it out. Too bad main stream disco killed-off the Express by the late '70's.
this album features some of the illest drum breaks and most-sampled melodies in Hip Hop history! a must-have...
What a debut! I was in college and remember jamming to the many great tracks on this album. Although Do It (Til You're Satisfied) and Express are disco/dance/funk classics, If It Don't Turn You On and This House is Smokin are great tracks in their own right. When the party got a little stale, nothing fired it up quicker that a dose of BT Express.
Great LP..this is the music I grew up listening to.
