Kicks Ass

All around great album, another reviewer stated the vocals are glam, obviously that person did not listen to this album (or maybe deaf), not at all glam, the singer is a little reminiscent of Geoff Tate in tonal quality. This album is soooo much better than previous efforts, too bad the singer is now growling with BioMechanical 80% of the time, (Empires of the world, available here on emusic, I have it in spite of the growly type of singing which in general I hate). Favorite track is title track also Chemical Imbalance, no place like home, wake up call and necessary evil. Very good production quality, love the drummer, the only nitpick I have with this album is most of the guitar solos suck (re: sloppy and overprocessed). Still its one of my favorites in will be in regular rotation for years !!!!

No Lance

Draconian

Don't get me worng, this CD is a solid piece of prog/power metal, but in my opinion it doesn't live up to the days when Lance King fronted B.O.P

Now, this is awesome!

Here is something that reminds me of the old-school Mindcrime-era Queensryche! This is a truly awesome effort by a band thats been around for a little while. I wish there was more of thier stuff on here. Excellent vocals, and some seriously kick-butt guitar work. Especially check out the track "Chemical Imbalance"! This album is definitely recommended for any power/progressive metal fans on here.

Metal with Prog Traces

CentralScrutinizer

Pretty Heavy musically but with melodic metal vocals (think 80's style Glam Metal vocally). Metal with Prog elements. A prety Good Heavy Album.
