pure genius

hiphoptastic

My brothers and I had all of Barry's tapes as kids, and I've known these songs by heart since age 3. I even named my fish Bird. Barry gets kids. And kids as adults.

there are some weird clicks at the start of some tracks, and the track durations are improbably long -- like, 18 minutes. maybe an itunes glitch. maybe i just need macbook air...

Great Children's Album - Many fond memories...

ATLGuy

This is a great album! I looked it up recently because my sister and I were trying to find a way to get it off my parents' LP. I remember listening to this growing up as a child and laughing continuously for hours on end like "Stephen" in the other review. Yeah, you can bet that if you give this to your kids you will be hearing over and over "My brother threw up on my stuffed toy bunny...", but it's a hilarious album with some great lessons for the kids. If you have trouble getting your kids to clean up, then "Tomorrow" is your song. Going on 30 years later, I can STILL remember these lyrics. If you're a parent or grandparent, it's a great gift. The kids will never forget it, and neither will you.

Drives Parents NUTS

This album shall provide one of the great joys of becoming a grandparent. Our son Stephen listened to an earlier verion of this album continuously when he was a child. It drove us crazy...Kind of like the 300th time you heard "Maggie May." There's nothing technically superiour about this stuff, in fact, its warped in the same way as Shel Silverstein, Frank Zappa, or Pee Wee Herman is, but its charming. The upshot: Stephen has a child. Download time.
