Definitely Worth A Listen
Battery Park combines acoustic and electric guitars with a raspy voiced singer in a way that works well to create their own sound. They're kind of like a cross between Creedence Clearwater Revival and Bob Seger. Almost. They don't sound quite as rural as CCR and Segar, but if you like these two acts, you'll likely enjoy Battery Park. They're also good song writers. I found myself identifying with what they were singing about. I've listened to this album numerous times and haven't grown tired of it.
