I see this listed on the Best of 2013 emusic list. Why? Goldberg is an exciting player, and often moves and grooves through his music to make the avant garde (ish) sound almost...dare I say...fun? This is just noise, ponderous and too abstract to make listening enjoyable. My thought is what my wife always says when discussing modern art-"yeah, I know that is important and smart people like it, but would you REALLY want it hanging on your wall where you see it everyday?". She is quite the music critic.
