Out of the blue
This was a surprise! Quirkic lyrics (with a few clunkers, but Bhi Bhiman takes risks), strong blues and rock foundations, just enough instrumentation to carry the song, and Bhiman's pitch-perfect, distinctive tenor voice. I can't even remember why I downloaded the album, and I did not listen to it until a couple of months later (One of the virtues of the old eMusic system in which indie music was super cheap).
