If all music was this good, this close to the bone, this elemental, the world would explode. Been waiting for emusic to score more early 80's hardcore, sends shivers up me spine.....

Black-freaking-Flag-baby!!!

One of the best bands of all time present a knock-out punch right on the chin of the boring major labels of the 1980's... armed with only a crystal clear Ampeg guitar, 25 dollars, and a six pack to their name... ... ... ... my original vinyl 7 inch has been played grooveless... it's perhaps the best EP ever released.

re meh, not really a review

heyyou

Black Flag I can take or leave. But really, Meh, if you're going to attempt to write stream-of-consciousness prose, you need to improve your grammar and spelling skills. You must first know and understand the rules; otherwise, you're not breaking the rules, you're just ignorant. I've unearthed many treasures on e-music, from Andean folk music to old school punk. (Where else ya gonna download "Little Orphans"?)

meh sucks

meh needs to get a clue to what he is talking about. First, Black Flag are legends and this is a classic EP, a must have for any punk fan. Second, eMusic is a real pleasure to be a part of. No DRM attached to files, great quality/encoding of files, and a LARGE catalog of indie releases. If you are bummed that there is only one Flag release, give it time. Who knows, maybe more SST releases are on the way. The fact that there are ANY is a miracle itself.

They Say All Music Guide

Another pre-Damaged EP release, Six Pack is just intense as Nervous Breakdown or Jealous Again. Its three tracks represent a band that was not interested in filler, using music to construct an answer to the bitterness and rage that permeated the lives of the disaffected. Also notable for yet another of many lineup changes that would happen within the band, this incarnation of the band is considered by some to be their most underrated. While largely overshadowed over the years by the band’s other vocalists, new member Dez Cadena delivers with the same power as successor Henry Rollins and blind rage as predecessor Keith Morris. An important step for one of the best bands to emerge from the L.A. hardcore scene. – Chris True
