This gets my vote for BEST ALBUM OF 2012!!! Well crafted tunes full of hooks, catchy choruses, amazing musicianship, lyrics anyone can relate to, soulful boogie piano, tasty riffs, the rhythm section is in the pocket and it isn't the typical glossed over country/southern rock crap that is written by songwriters in a cubicle!!! BLACKBERRY SMOKE IS THE REAL DEAL!!!
Great collection of songs rooted in "Southern Rock" but moving off in a few different directions. After listening to the samples I downloaded most of them, except for Leave A Scar (too messy for my taste) and Up The Road (ballad). Some favorites are "Lucky Seven" and "Ain't Got The Blues".
