Phew, what a scorcher!

JuniorDog

Expectations for this band are high, made up as it is of former Georgia Satellites frontman Dan Baird and Jason & The Scorchers guitar-wrangler extraordinaire Warner E. Hodges, and they're not disappointed. Quality of performance throughout is absolutely top-notch, but it's the songs that these guys have written with old friend Joe Blanton (Royal Court of China frontman) and his phenomenal vocals that lift it way above the (high) standard that listeners have any right to expect. From reflective party-rocker (if that's possible) Bad Old Days, through the none-more-Cheap-Trick pop of Nobody Loves You to the Zep-like classic-rocker Repair My Soul, it's one cracking song after another, while the pairing of She's So Sick / 100 Watt Girl is simply genius. There's a real sense of fun here, too, and it fills the grooves (or 'bits' in this case) of the record from start to finish. Download this at once...you won't be disaapointed!
