Great Midwestern Punk
Not sure why this is listed as a compilation. This is the Meanies' second proper album, and probably their best. (Though 1997's Full Throttle is a kick-ass album, too.) I grew up on this stuff so I don't have proper perspective, but this is ska/punk at its best as far as I'm concerned. The songs are frenetic and wonderfully weird. Check out "Grandma Shampoo" or "Polka in the Eye" for a taste.
