im sorry iam bias, i live in canada and here these guys are icons. to say they lose their craft on the fast songs is to say the least idiotic. many of their biggest hits have been fast songs. check out teir live double cd here on e music its top notch maybe just not for the old fart dude.

Good Fast and slow

Gosh

The best fast songs here are "Willing Fool", "Fools like you", "The Big Push". The best slows are "Rain Down on Me", "Already Gone", and especially "Last to Know". Enjoy!

Falls Apart at High Speed

Blue Rodeo's fast songs are forgetable. These boys pick up the pace and they seem to lose thier craft. Give a listen to the slow stuff.

They Say All Music Guide

Lost Together was easily the best Blue Rodeo album to date. Hit the random button on the disc player and no matter where the laser touches down, you’re assured a worthwhile listening experience. Blue Rodeo have built a fortress on the foundation of their previous three outings. The straight pop song “Flying” and ballads “Already Gone” and the epic title track offer added depth and maturity without rehashing previous successes. “Willin’ Fool” and “Angels” tackle the progressive elements of Blue Rodeo’s second album Diamond Mine and sharpen them to a manic, cutting edge. “Fools Like You” spits out a defense of native rights, Greg Keelor doing his best outraged-Bob Dylan impression. – Roch Parisien
