Bluegrass Renditions of Nonbluegrass Songs Rule!
This is great...I had no idea this stuff existed. I don't even like Coldplay, I'm afraid. Or rather, I do like Coldplay--I like Bluegrass Coldplay! What a revelation. Here's the thing--I really love the textures of bluegrass, the dynamic weave of instrumentation, the spindly sounds of many criss-crossing stringed entities. But I also really love haunting pop melodies that I've been hard-pressed to find in trad 'grass. Here they are in conjunction...phenomenal.
