Don't Pass this One By!

It's a crime Bobby Parker isn't more well known, and Shine it Up demonstrates why. His loose, funky sound is on full display here, along with his blistering blues guitar work and smooth-as-silk vocals. If you like West Side Chicago blues with a side of soul and funk, you'll love this one.

Bobby Parker was one of Blacktop's best!

This boy has soul! He is smooth as silk from start to finish. Guitar work and timing is excellent and the vocals are good too. Fine band, fine album. Any of the Bobby on BT records is worth the dld.
