Amazing. I hope I never get sick of this album.

EMUSIC-0273CAC9

I haven't been this excited about an album for a long time. Almost every song is amazing and the one's that aren't amazing are still really good. I feel enveloped in a happy warmth when I listen to any of these tracks...

Sakamoto san?

TuffLittleUnit

Loved this ... because it sounds so derivative of Ryuchi Sakamoto in places. Kong is so familiar but I just can't put my finger on it. Great "pool side" album for me :)

Outstanding

Joseph93

This is a grower. Wonderful, jazz-and-brass-laced electronic music which is ultimately beautiful and moving.

Well worth a listen

gearoid.murphy

Some nice arrangements on this album, not mind blowing but certainly very pleasant, part of my regular rotation.

Simon Green, aka Bonobo, first established his rep as a sample-based beat whizkid in Brighton in the late '90s. His spacious, meditative tunes initially — if slightly misleadingly — colliding with the utilitarian 'down-tempo 'music of acts like Air, Kid Loco and Kruder & Dorfmeister. Unlike those artists, however, Bonobo's roots were firmly grounded in sample-heavy hip hop — as soon became clear on his increasingly sophisticated records on the beatmaster indie label, Ninja Tune. Bonobo's… more »
