A Benchmark In 60's R&B

There are not enough words to describe the contribution that Booker T and the MG's have made and are still making on instrumental R&B/Jazz-Funk. The musicians individually and collectively represent both the style and substance still being adhered to in the music of this genre today. If you are lucky enough to find a half speed master recording of any of their LP's and are luckier still to play it on a pretty decent stereo...you will truly learn where in the universe Nirvana is located.
