Not their best, but it's Borknagar, so it's good.
Not their best album, but still a great album. The new drummer seems to be heavier handed than the last and adds a heavier, more sluggish feel, though not necessarily in a negative sense. It just feels like some speed was swapped for heaviness. The songs seem a bit darker overall but they are high quality and engaging. I'm not sure why, but Vintersorg's clean vox sound sort of like a chipmunk in a song or two (namely track 2) though after a listen or two it's not a problem.
