Swinging country, acoustic bliss & even classical. This album makes for an exciting mix of Americana. All 8 tracks are worthy downloads.
I caught Boulder Acoustic Society at The Walnut Room in Denver the other night, and they put on an amazing show. A little Bluegrass, a little old-time jazz and blues, a little Django, a little Dvotchka. Kailin Yong the violinist is extremely talented, and only 18 I believe. These guys have a great future. Start with this album, don't miss the freebee song on the Resource Group Indie Award album, and then go for their more experimental sound on The Caged Bird.
Great album. I'd start with gospel plow and hatchback blues, especially if you play the bass. Check these guys out live.
