I think Julian is a cast iron genius. The Teardrops were one of the great 80's bands, and several of his solo albums are right up there in my all-time albums list. That said, I don't love all his output uncritically. Specifically, this album is awful! (But I'm so glad that someone like Copey exists and is still making music, even when it misses the mark as badly as this one!)
the 30 sec clips got me wondering a bit too. hey emusic can we get the julian genius pieces that he has created? dont mean to judge in 30sec, but this is not his best. no resusitation for peggy today but bring "black sheep" my way. gimme gimme gimme gimme. julian is WOW!
easy to believe this is the same guy who released skellington all those years ago... well kinda he's always at his best when someone else is playing the geetar, and man can Doggen play...
