Brigitte Fontaine may not be terribly well known in the US, but her unique, innovative stylings should be. Her albums can sometimes be rather avant-garde, but that's a good thing. She's never been afraid to try something new and her albums definitely cover a wide range of styles and moods. Always enjoyable.
