The best full-length album in Spears's singles-oriented career

In a year when divas like Gaga, Katy and Rihanna continued to dominate the musical landscape, the O.G. pop star certainly had her work cut out for her. And given Britney’s recent personal struggles, it’s a minor miracle she even managed to drag her ass to a studio. But not only is Femme Fatale a welcome comeback, it’s the best full-length album in this singles-oriented artist’s 12-year music career. Buzzing, of-the-moment pleasures from Dr. Luke and Max Martin abound: the panty-peeler “How I Roll” might be the most avant-garde thing to blast from a strip club, while “Hold It Against Me” features a shockingly great detour into dubstep. Sure, Adele may have had a voice big enough to flatten a small town, but Brit’s apocalyptic anthem “Till the World Ends” (co-written by Ke$ha) was a nuclear bomb of a pop gem. If it’s all going to hell, might as well dance.

Why This Album Rocks

Music is a lot like movies - it's not all indie, underground, perfectly done, "you've never even heard of it," stuff that is the best. sometimes, it's what's fun, and this album is fun. From start to finish, it's an audio party and "How I Roll" is ambitious and exciting. "Inside Out" makes you want to get down and dirty on the dance floor, and lyrically explains the "break-up sex" feelings. This album may not be the Grammy winning album of the year, but it is fun, and sometimes, I just want a little fun!

Bummer. I can't help but root for Britney but what's up with the vocal distortion thing? Sounds like Glee on steroids. Enough! Just sing it, girl! It would probably be fun to see her live - for a few minutes anyway. It all sounds the same with the tin-can synth vocals.

i think Britney has came a good long way on a really rough road she had her kids taken from her by ex husband she couldnt stay at home without her babies there it really tore her up inside if it wasnt for her dad she wouldnt be where she is today i think this is the best music she ever made i really hope her tour will be great to so all those brit haters shut up and go away if you was in her shoes you sure in hell wouldnt be sayin all that crap about her

This is her best album yet, this album hits so hard on my system. Iv'e heard Katy Perry's album as well as Kesha, these 2 don't even come close to Britney.
