If Stereolab picked up the Doors' instruments and tried to channel their inner Portishead... this is what it would sound like.
When this album came out, it was and still is, by far, one of the most interesting albums I own.
This kind of reminds me of a soundtrack from a "B" movie circa 1967. I like the sound, but really don't care for the songs.
