The best of the jug bands
The Memphis Jug Band were brilliant but I always find myself coming back to Cannon's Jug stompers. Cannon's ragged banjo lines and vocals always get me smiling, and Noah Lewis' occasional but powerful melancholy vocals and harmonica are the perfect compliment.
