I love gospel hip-hop and R&P(rhythm & praise)! If U do too, then it's likely U would agree that Canton Jones is the front-runner of contemporary gospel hip-hop, and R&P... The quality of the production of the music is very professional & refreshing. Creativity is 2nd to none. As U listen to song after song, U can feel his personal walk with Christ bleeding through the lyrics with passionate delivery. U would normally expect a little 'watering-down' with the number of tracks that are delivered, but NO!... Whether it's an up-tempo banger, or a moment to slow down & worship,... Canton Jones goes-hard for Christ with quality & quantity!

They Say All Music Guide

Stuffed, but not overstuffed, at two CDs long, Dominionaire is Canton Jones’ most ambitious project to date, but that doesn’t mean he can’t coolly stroll and swagger through this big offering of “Kingdom Music.” Jones is R. Kelly-cool throughout the double album, but the message is, of course, entirely different as the singer relates all cuts to a psalm or passage in the Bible. As far as highlights, check the key track “G.O.D.” or “In da Club,” which reclaims coolness for the worship crowd with its infectious hook “They done let the Christians in da club/Oh my God!” Actually, check about anywhere here because this XL album is surprisingly filler-free as the seemingly unstoppable Jones keeps the momentum rolling for 22 tracks. – David Jeffries
