Unique and a pleasant surprise
Just saw these guys open for Dead Confederate, and I was blown away. Very good sound...sort of like Alman Bros. meets Sly Stone. Eagerly awaiting their newest release coming out on 10/07/08.

It's just a really good album. It's a bit raw and unpolished at times but that makes it all the more charming. I don't love EVERY track but I can't think of many albums where I do. At any rate, I can't wait for their next record.
Damn, the last time I heard of these guys they were playing small bars in Iowa and Chicago. Good for them that they got signed, can't wait to give this a listen!
I saw these guys live in Louisville, opening for The Hold Steady and was blown away. The lead singer has much passion in his words and it is all for the benefit of the listner.
I downloaded this delicious sampling of tunes from these gentlemen and was inspired to put on my vinyl copy of "Beck,Bogart & Appice". Strenuous exercise would be well suited to this offering. Enjoy please....
Catfish Haven ???? That is exactly what I said when I saw the name of this newer midwest band. I took a chance and was thrilled to own this release. If you dig southern rock and blues you will dig Catfish Haven. Easily one of the top 25 of 2006.
