Biggarthomas

Really great playing until one hits track 6 and thinks that one is listening to bad vinyl! eMusic needs to fix this.

... but track 6, "Theme For Red", is corrupted. Download the other 6 tracks, but skip that one (who knows when eMusic will post a good rip). The trio format suits Walton's playing best, and his companions - the late, outstanding Billy Higgins on drums and David Williams on bass - complement his playing in a seamless manner. Not background jazz by any means, but melodic, inspired, and interesting throughout.
