Rest now, dear Cesaria, our barefoot diva...
...and thank you so much for creating and singing some of the best world music in that part of the globe (Cape Verde). My favorite track in this compilation is " Crepuscular Solidao", which literally translates to "solitude in twilight." Most Cesaria Evora's songs evoked the same longing for solitude which true world music fans pine for in this harried planet we live in.
