Beautiful Music, Problematic Transfer
While the music is lovely and well deserving of all the critical praise received (including Record of the Year from the Whisperings website: www.solopianoradio.com), this transfer is way too reverberant and echo-plagued, resulting in distortion that intrudes into every part of the piano playing. I can confirm that this problem also exists on the iTunes download...what I did was order the CD directly. and THAT had absolutely NONE of the sound problems noted here. Therefore, be advised that while I wholeheartedly enjoyed the music and creative imagination displayed, the transfer leaves much to be desired...it will be worth your effort to seek this recording out in a different venue!
