Do feel guilty about liking this!

EMUSIC-01794076

Note to readers - Charles Manson does not and never has collected a penny from royalties for the sale of his albums. All of the money he has made from this release goes directly to a California fund for victims of violent crimes. Do you research before condemning eMusic et al for selling this album!

Jose Feliciano, Aleister Crowley, Jose Feliciano, Jim Croce . . . man, what does the great Emusic computer similar artist generator have against Jose and JIm Croce? Ha, ha. Was Jose once a member of the Manson Family Blind Auxiliary? How come no mention of Dennis Love? Doesn't he have a solo album available on Emusic? Hilarious.

Freaky.

I can't delete this album from my "Saved for Later" list. It just keeps showing up no matter how many times I delete it. None of the other albums that I have deleted do this. Just sayin...

How the hell does a convicted cold blooded murderer get the right to sell his crappy music on line or anywhere else?He had good people killed;people he did not even know that had done or said anything to deserve this.Manson's voice sucks and so does he.Don't support him!!emusic should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this.Anything for a buck?

Not as evil as you might think

To the person who said that they wouldn't want to "give a penny that would help him" you should know that all proceeds from the sales of this album are donated to a California fund for victims of violent crime. Under California law he cannot profit off of any of his work. That aside, this isn't bad. It isn't that good, but not that bad.

there is no way that i would ever listen to anything that this maniac put out. no way that i would ever give a penny that would help him. no way that i want to hear his voice, look upon his face, or hear his name. why any sane person would want to have anything to do with him i cannot imagine. delete this if you must, but i have to write it. good lord.

hate to love it

if you can, put his notoriety aside and give the music a chance. those into experimental folk will dig. this album has some really outstanding tracks while others sort of bore me, but its quite indicative of a particular historical era and i would recommend LIE if you're into the whole commune concept and collective art music. not to mention there is something sort of hypnotic on account that contextual baggage. some of the songs seem to foreground the post-punk movement, ie- ego and mechanical man. its really a trip.
