Good record

Hottentotslover

This band has a lot of spirit...could be harder rock to get seperation on the cover songs from the origionals.

overall good album

This disc has a regular play in the shop. It gets at least 2 or 3 plays a week, mixed with other psychobilly.

Wrong Description!

The listing claims that the first song, "Bad Ass Dad" is by the Cramps...it's not. The whole album is by Charley Horse. Charley Horse is comprised of Sean "Zezo" Wheeler from Throw Rag, Corey Parks from Die Hunns/Nashville Pussy, and Scott "Chopper" Franklin from the Cramps. Since the album's release, Corey Parks has left the band and been replaced with Strangy from the Klingonz and Demented Are Go. It's good stuff, the standout track here is the cover of Jerry Reed's "Eastbound and Down" - the theme to "Smokey and the Bandit" if you didn't know! For a "psychobilly" album there are a lot of samples, but if you are a fan of any of the respective "home bands" of this group, you are sure to enjoy the album!
