Charlie at his best. This album represents the benchmark for all harp players should strive to achieve too.
This is a tour de force; a textbook recording for all blues harpists. An excellent album...every track a winner.
I first heard "Harpin' on a Riff" as an Indie Feed Blues Podcast, Then I heard more Musselwhite on a "Woodsongs Radio Hour" podcast. I decided it was time to actually pay for some of Musselwhite's songs. Such a variety of styles onthis album! I liked the instrumentals better than those with vocals, but it's all good
I picked this one up at one of Charlie's shows. Really great blues harmonica.
Charlie is an awesome harp blower. Just wish that emusic had more of his albums.
